The Slavic graduate students will be hosting a film series this fall entitled “War, Love, and Madness: Film Series from Central and Southeastern Europe and Russia” on Thursday evenings throughout the 2013 fall semester. The series begins on September 19 at 7pm with Jacek Borcuch's Wszystko, co kocham [All That I Love], a 2009 film about love and punk in communist Poland. Historical musicologist Andrea Bohlman, assistant professor in UNC-Chapel Hill's Music Department, will introduce the screening and lead a discussion following the viewing.
The Film Series is sponsored by GSLL and the Center for Slavic, Eurasian, and East European Studies.
