This panel discussion, featuring Berlin-based singer and songwriter Daniel Kahn, will discuss Jewish history and Yiddish culture in Ukraine. Panelists include:

Naomi Seidman, Jackman Humanities Professor at the University of Toronto,

Mikhail Krutikov, professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures and Preston R. Tisch Professor of Judaic Studies at the Univ. of Michigan,

Gennady Estraikh, scholar of Yiddish literature and culture and professor at New York University,

Karen Auerbach, Associate Professor; Ambassador Stuart E. Eizenstat Scholar in Jewish History at UNC-Chapel Hill,

Michele Rivkin-Fish, associate professor in the Department of Anthropology at UNC-Chapel Hill, and

Ruth von Bernuth, Seymour & Carol Levin Distinguished Term Professor and Director, Carolina Center for Jewish Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill
