Mahlzeit!: Navigating Cultural Differences between German and US Companies Guest Lecture & Delta Phi Alpha Ceremony

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures will recognize its latest class of Carolina students of German to be invited to join the Beta Rho chapter of Delta Phi Alpha, now in its eighty fourth year, of Carolina’s German Honors Society. The ceremony will feature a lecture of UNC Adjunct Professor of Chemistry and Head of Global R&D Seed Treatment at BASF, Dr. Jörg Bauer. Dr. Bauer’s lecture is entitled “Mahlzeit!: Navigating Cultural Differences between German and US Companies” and will address his experiences with working transatlantically in planet science. German snacks and beverages will be provided.
