Europe Today: The Old World in a New Era

This seminar will explore contemporary Europe and its model of governance to see what it may have to offer as examples for the rest of the world. It will also examine what European identity means in the face of changing demographics and a reckoning with its history of colonization. Covering political, economic, social, and cultural topics, the seminar will shine a light on the Europe of today and challenge our conceptions of the “Old World.”
