For the 100% City series, Rimini Protokoll has traveled the world, working with local citizens to build immersive theater experiences. Now, the German theater group brings its cutting-edge concept to the area we call home.
100% The Triangle features 100 local (non-actor) residents chosen according to the demographics of our region. Over a four-month period, Rimini Protokoll will partner with CPA and Carolina Demography to build a truly representative cross-section of three counties: Wake, Durham, and Orange. Then, in October, the participants will come together for a substantive, human performance that breaks down tired narratives about what North Carolina—and the South—can be.
