Recent academic appointments of graduate alumni

Margaret Reif, Ph.D. (May, 2020) is visiting assistant professor of German at Haverford College.  Jeffrey Hertel, Ph.D. (May, 2020) is assistant professor of German at Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Michigan.  April Henry, Ph.D. (UNC-CH, 2008), lecturer in German at Duke University, has been named director of the German language program.  Gregor Thuswaldner, Ph.D. (UNC-CH, 2003) is provost and executive vice president and professor of world languages at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.
