Virtual NC German Day 2021

The American Association of Teachers of German of North Carolina (NC-AATG) held its 21st annual German Day for middle-school and high-school students virtually during the week of March 15‒18, 2021. Dr. Christina Weiler (current Vice President of NC-AATG) and Dr. Joseph Rockelmann were part of the planning committee for the event. This year’s German Day theme was “Sauer macht lustig!” The students participated in different German competitions, such as a “Kochsendung” contest, songs and karaoke, poetry recitation, art designs, extemporaneous speaking, and more.
