The Modern Language Association of America announced its awarding of the fourteenth Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for Studies in Germanic Languages and Literatures. Professor Priscilla Layne received an honorable mention for her book White Rebels in Black: German Appropriation of Black Popular Culture, published by the University of Michigan Press (2018).
